Organic – 100% certified organic cotton grown using sustainable farming methods without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Available on our mattress cover fabrics, quilt batting and cotton felt padding on select models.
Natural Cotton – 100% All Natural Cotton Felt padding.
Latex – Made entirely from natural rubber without synthetic
fillers. Latex dissipates heat and moisture and naturally repels
the growth of mold and mildew. It also relieves pressure points
by contouring to individual body shape.
Wool – 100% Pure New Zealand Eco Wool padding and/or quilting
Why Eco Wool?
1. Eco Wool helps to regulate body temperature and keep it constant due to its naturally occurring “air pockets” which produce warmth in the winter without overheating and stay cool in the summer by wicking away moisture.
2. Eco Wool is dust mite resistant due to its ability to wick away moisture eliminating the breeding ground for dust mites which need moisture to survive.
3. Eco Wool resists the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew making it naturally hypoallergenic.
4. Eco Wool has a natural crimp in the fibers which makes them “springy”. Eco Wool provides excellent support to relieve pressure points but recovers almost 100% of its
springiness after compression.
5. Eco Wool is naturally flame resistant as it is difficult to ignite and will not melt like synthetic fabrics do.
6. Eco Wool is a sustainable resource as sheep grow a new coat of fleece each year and feed on natural vegetation. All of our Eco Wool comes from ethically sheared New Zealand sheep.

“Bam-Boo”™ Viscose from bamboo fabric – The bamboo plant is a hearty tree that grows without the use of chemicals
or pesticides. It is the most renewable resource on the planet
growing to maturity in only 2 years versus the 5-7 years required by traditional trees. The bamboo plant has natural anti-bacterial
properties and produces a fabric that is hypo-allergenic, soft and
breathable making it warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Bonnell Coils – The most widely used coil construction in the
bedding industry. It is made from adult grade extra thick wire
which provides better firmness and durability. Our coils are made
in an extra resilient 5 turn construction (versus the 4 turn used in other crib mattress innersprings) which extends mattress life. Made from recycled steel.
Continuous Coils – Specially produced from a single strand of
thick wire it provides 30% more steel surface coverage and has
fewer gaps between the coils resulting in superior firmness and
a more uniform sleep surface. The coils in this innerspring are not “tied” together like bonnell coils so they maintain their shape
with use for maximum mattress life. Made from recycled steel.
Pocket Coils – Exclusive Simmons innerspring technology
used on the “Beautyrest” series – individually pocketed coils
respond independently to body weight and position providing
the ultimate in personalized support as your baby grows.
